Playing some "small ball" by a coaster. Yeah, Bond
enjoyed it.
After eighteen holes and having the Hellcat zoom past us every five minutes
both of us were seriously itching for a ride.
As you can see there were not a lot of people riding even though Timber
Falls was pretty full.
We chatted with some of the employees for a while and basically the coaster
is a "loss leader". Meaning they really don't make any
money from it but it brings in the people and makes their golf courses a
bit more attractive over all of the other ones on the strip. That
actually explains their annoying "5 rides per person" rule for
the Hellcat because the more it runs the more it costs to maintain.
So they decided to limit the number of rides per person. Still over
an afternoon and evening between our rounds of golf we took our five rides
and feel that we got our moneys worth, especially for $20 per person.
