If the ride is called "Double
Loop" well you have to at least have two loops on it, here's loop
#1.
Double Loop actually is the first
coaster to have two vertical loops back to back. Even though it
may be getting up there in age the Double Loop is still a fantastic
and fun coaster.
The sun is going down and the
moon is soon coming up and we were completely exhausted so it's time
to call it a day. I look forward to visiting Six Flags Worlds
of Adventure some other time.
April 2020 Postscript:
As I sit here updating my site bringing old and badly coded pages to the
modern web format it was a tough one looking back at Geauga Lake/Six
Flags Ohio/Six Flags Worlds of Adventure. The park wasn't a world
class one but it was a lot of fun. There were wonderfully classic
rides like the Big Dipper and the Double Loop, great new rides like
Superman and Batman to enjoy. There was also something for my
wife; with the wildlife side of the park, my son; with plenty of kids
rides and for myself with all the coasters. The reason the park is
no more is that Six Flags thought they could compete with Cedar Point.
Once they threw in the towel and sold it all to Cedar Fair it was just a
matter of time before it was to be shuttered.
Geauga Lake is missed.
