After the inaugural ride of the day on Batman, everyone was left to
take in the park however they see fit.

With parks all around the Six Flags chain removing aging or costly
rides Ninja and Boomerang are the two coasters that I wouldn't shed
a tear if they were cut up for scrap. During the
Grand Ole'
Carousel Media Preview I had a chat with the rides manager and he
said that even with the rides age surprisingly Ninja's Maintenance
costs are really low. That means it will be around for a
while. Maybe the trains will wear out and Six Flags will order
some new ones with a vest restraint instead of the over the shoulder
restraints. Vest restraints would actually get e back on
Ninja for at least one ride to try it out.

While the Ninja and Boomerang are two coasters that I avoid, the
River King Mine Train is one that I can't pass up riding.

This classic Arrow Dynamics designed mine train is just so much fun
to ride.

Opening with Six Flags St. Louis in 1971 the River King Mine Train
is the oldest coaster in the park and the fifth mine train that
Arrow designed and built.
