With as many years have gone into this process each horse might have hundreds or thousands of hours of work put into them.

Danny told me that they could rush and get them back up this year but the team would rather do it the right way so that they don't have to do major work on them again.

After being painted with some of the protective primer the paint has to actually cure for a couple of weeks which is why these two are stacked in the corner of the room waiting to get brought back to life.

Even though they are covered with dust in this workroom in the basement of the maintenance building the horses of the Grand Ole carousel still shine.
