Daredevil Daze at Six Flags St. Louis, Eureka, Missouri

With all of the rides at the park walk on with the light crowds we bounced around the park.

As I was saying about Ninja you can take Mr. Freeze as a perfect example of changing the restraints can turn a painful to ride coaster and make it infinitely better.  Mr. Freeze originally opened with over the shoulder restraints (this is why the sign in the station asks riders to remove earrings) and the head banging it had made Ninja look smooth by comparison.  Thankfully Six Flags and Premiere Rides fixed the restraint problem and as a result you have an amazing coaster that is once you can ride over and over.

One of the best parts of Mr. Freeze is getting pulled up the spike in reverse and then just hanging there for a moment in free fall bliss before heading back down.

After Mr. Freeze we bounced across the park to take the River King Mine Train for a spin around the course.

After the mine train it was time for lunch down in the Worlds Fair Picnic Grove.
