Speaking of new life the work on restoring the Grand Ole Carousel continues.

As you can see more horses have been removed as the crew at Six Flags St. Louis continue to give them the tender loving care that this ride has deserved for so long.

Honestly I was a little worried about this project getting the axe when Six Flags announced a 20% reduction in permanent staff last fall.

Thankfully though the Grand Ole Carousel restoration is still going.

Maybe we will be lucky and the heart of the park will return in 2022 and guests of all ages can once again climb aboard a great wooden steed or climb into the chariott for a spin on this classic.
