The after lunch activities for Daredevil Daze was a behind the scenes tour of the Screamin' Eagle and a construction tour of the removal of Superman:  Tower of Power.

The Eagle looked amazing as usual but sadly we have no action shots of her in action as with the removal of Superman and the rest of the buildings between that and the Eagle it is down for the rest of the year.

When you ride the Screamin' Eagle one really doesn't get a proper feel for how hilly the terrain that it is built over really is.  When you walk it though your calves do understand.

The Screanin' Eagle was the final coaster designed by the legendary John Allen and the last coaster built by Philadelphia Toboggan Coasters before they focused on making trains and hardware for coasters.  When it opened in 1976 it was the longest, tallest and fastest single tracked coaster in the world.
