Fo
r Daredevil Daze 2019 I had two simple goals. The
first one was easy as I wanted to have fun with all of my friends
there. The second one; which was to turn my nephew Aizak and
niece Bria into raving coaster enthusiasts, was in all reality easy
too. Having moved into the St. Louis area and with their
parents supplying season passes both of them have spent a
significant time at Six Flags St. Louis riding coasters like nuts
this year. For their first coaster enthusiast event they were
about to get to see all the cool things that members of the
American
Coaster Enthusiasts get to do during their events.
For those of you who don't know Daredevil Daze is an annual event
put on by the Heart of America region of the American Coaster
Enthusiasts. Being a member of the club or a guest of a
members lets you join in on the fun that we have at events like
this.
For most guests to Six Flags St. Louis walking across the tracks for
the Tommy G. Robertson Railroad on your way up the hill is a pretty
normal thing.
For those of us attending Daredevil Daze this year our behind the
scenes tour took us not across the tracks but on them.
This year we got to walk them from the River King Mine Train all the
way around to Mr. Freeze on the Tommy G. Robertson railroad.
Walking this course we were certainly provided some interesting
vantage points to take photos and videos of the rides we passed by
like Sky Screamer here.
