It was a little weird walking around the train tracks like a
bunch of hobos.
We did get some interesting looks from the regular park guests as we
walked by rides like Spinsanity.
There were more than a few confused looks from park guests as we
walked through the station instead of the train.
One thing that has changed recently at Six Flags St. Louis is
Colossus never stops spinning. The park made it so the ride is
constantly loading and unloading. As a result it slowly
rotates so guests can step on and off without the ride stopping.
I'm not a big fan of this as you only get a single rotation and it
just isn't as fun rotating at what seems like a fifth of the old
speed.
Some of the behind the scenes tours during Daredevil Daze have
included walking around and up The Boss, walked around Screamin'
Eagle, touring Scooby Do & The Scary Swamp before it was destroyed,
rode the Freak Train with all the monsters during Fright Fest and
got to take a look at one of the haunts in daytime. Having a
different behind the scenes tour each year for Daredevil Daze really
makes every year special.
