The Eagle turns 40 this year so Six Flags kicked off the year
by giving us all the present of double rides on it.
Travis, Greg, Rohan, Ryder were there to join Bond and I in a nice
double ride in the best seats...the back rows.
After months and months of grey skies and freezing winds I just sit
back felt the sun on my face, listened to the clanking of the
anti-rollbacks and enjoyed having my son and friends with me for
this. Son, friends and coasters all mixed together is a drug
and I am always in need of a fix especially after winter.
Those things combine to reboot my brain, flush all the stress out
and get me going well.
As for how the Screaming Eagle is this year here is one word for
you: wow!
I take my hat off to the Screaming Eagle's maintenance crew because
whatever they do this ride has become better and better with each
off season.
Ok, now that my coaster addiction was met (for now) we can sit down
and take a good look at the new for 2016 Fireball.
Fireball is a "Super Loop" type ride built by Larson International
of Plainview Texas.
From the look of it Fireball's ride vehicle has some sort of a drag
racing or race car theme to it but it definitely has flames.
