Just like Fright Fest doesn't kick into full gear until the
sun goes down you could say the same about Holiday In The Park as it
comes to life when skies darken and holiday lights fill the park.
Here is a little "food porn" of the Pulled Turkey Sandwich. I
was a little unsure about it as it comes with cranberry sauce and
gravy; and I am not a gravy man, but it was really good. The
Smokehouse (where I got it) always has the best food in the park but
I wish they would go back to having the waffle cut fries as these
are a bit too greasy.
Starting off this year with just a million lights around Six Flags
St. Louis they did a fantastic job of putting them where it really
mattered for Holiday In The Park.
As many trees as there are in Six Flags St. Louis I would love to
see them all wrapped up like this one but as I said this is the
first year for Holiday In The Park and it will take a few years for
it to really come into its own.
It was great seeing the Grand Carousel running although a suggestion
for next year would be to change out all the lights with green and
red ones for a nice holiday theme.
