Here is one more Grand Carousel photo before we move along.
I have to give massive kudos to Six Flags St. Louis because they
massively ramped up the fog for this years Fright Fest. Fog
may not be elaborate theming but a lot of it really adds to the
spooky atmosphere of the park and sets a perfect tone.
No more is Six Flags offering the "No Scare Necklace" for those who
don't want to be hunted down by the creatures of the night. If
you don't want to be scared then you might want to turn around when
you see this sign.
The makeup for the scare actors was also top notch this year and
there were plenty of monsters all around the Scare Zones to mess
with everyone that passed through. This guy looked really cool
but my only beef with his performance is he kept breaking character
to talk with people...it kind of spoils the effect and fun.
Everyone else though was in character and on task with messing with
everyone they could. I do like this whole zombie prom queen
from hell get up.
