The American Coaster Enthusiasts annual Daredevil daze event at Six Flags St. Louis, Eureka, Missouri

As of 2016 there are currently 182 wooden coasters in existence in the world.  What is really shocking is that The Boss' third hill is taller than 73% of the rest of the wooden coasters on the planet.

The Boss has the tenth tallest lift at 122 feet but as it exists on a hillside the first drop comes in at 150 feet which ranks it 8th in the world for a wooden coaster.

If you are looking at the above photo you might be wondering where I took this photo from?

One of the really big surprises was that everyone got to climb partway up the stairway that leads to The Boss' midcourse brake for a great view of the ride speeding by.

It is really fun getting to go and walk under a coaster but to climb up on one is beyond cool.
