It was really fun watching everyone's reactions to Cyborg
before taking Justice League: The Battle For Metropolis for a ride.
People were taking photos and video of him like nuts because despite
being an animatronic character he looks so real. At the end of
the Media Preview while we were waiting for the video that Six Flags
St. Louis shot of us riding (it is coming up in two pages) Bond and
I just sat and and watched how Cyclops moved. There are so
many little touches that makes the character real like how he shifts
weight back and forth in his hips, how often he blinks or how his
lips move as if the figure was breathing. Little things like
that make the ride and the experience that much more believable and
memorable and it is a very nice thing to see coming from Six Flags.
We had to wait a little while for the car rigged up with a camera so
we got a chance to hang around in the station, watch everyone's
reactions and talk with some of the guys from Alterface about the
ride.
What was really fun was watching children get off of the ride.
You could see it in their faces how much fun they had battling Lex
Luthor, tangling with The Joker and how above and beyond Justice
League: The Battle for Metropolis really is.
Of course Bond and I got as many rides in as possible in order to
give you all a full view as to how this ride is.
