Another thing missing in the past was fog and smoke effects around
the park. Not this year as there was plenty of it to add to the spooky
atmosphere. Fog is great because you never know what is going to pop
out at you as you are walking through it.
Gnawlin's Hollow takes over the stretch of midway between Shazam and American
Thunder. It seems a family of cannibal redneck hillbilly voodoo folks
has moved into that area and are looking for their next meal.
Watch out because she will shake her bones at you, hypnotize you and then
have you for dinner with a nice chianti and some fava beans.
If you suffer from arachnophobia you might want to avoid American Thunder
during Fright Fest as a few eight legged creatures are lurking to spin you
into a web.
American Thunder all covered in spider webs gets all sticky which isn't
bad as Bond and I will gladly stay stuck to the back seat for ride after
ride.
