Being a huge zombie movie/Walking Dead fan I would go nuts over a
zombie themed dark ride where you could take out walkers. The problem
is putting a bullet through a walkers head as a ride experience is not really
that family friendly or marketable towards all of Six Flags customers.
On August 28, 2014 Six Flags announced all of the new additions for their
parks (something that I really like) and that is when the replacement for
Scooby-Doo; Justice League: The Battle for Metropolis was announced.
Everything that was Injun Joe's all the way to Scooby-Doo was going to be
removed from the building and in its place for 2015 we are going to get
a fully interactive 3-D massively multimedia ride experience. The
new ride is not a coaster but it really has me excited for next season.
I love being able to have the day with all of my friends but unfortunately
when ERT came to an end we started losing people who had to go. The
Ethertons had to traverse Missouri on their way back to Kansas City.
It is a little sad having to say goodbye but there are other Daredevil Days
to come.
After our final ride came to an end it was time to head back into The Scary
Swamp behind the scenes on foot.
I'm not sure "Scooter" is but a fellow ride operator decided to leave a
little graffiti for him on the back sides of one of the set pieces.
Here is one of the old boats sitting one of the brakes inside of the building
waiting to be plugged in for the night.
