The Long Broken & Abandoned Hannibarrels Ride at Six Flags St. Louis, Eureka, Missouri

For years this corner of Six Flags St. Louis between the 1904 Worlds Fair, Chouteau's Market and the Warner Brother's Back Lot has been a quiet and dead part of the park

While it may have been a quiet spot for a while behind the fence and facade of old storefronts sat slowly rusting away the long forgotten and abandoned Hannibarrels ride.

The Hannibarrels was one of Six Slags Over Mid America's; as Six Flags St. Louis was known as then, original eight rides when the park opened in 1971.

The Hannibarrels is a "Drunken Barrels" type ride from the manufacturer Intamin.

The Hannibarrels; which is named after a play on words with "Hannibal, Missouri" and the "barrels" which you sit in, is a spinning ride.
