Speeding straight up and through the structure in the "top hat" inversion is still one of my favorite inversions. On the way back you crawl through this and I have always enjoyed looking up to see straight down through the structure while hanging there.

After getting a taste of the new Freeze Bond and I spent the rest of the hot summer day taking in the rest of the park that is until the heat drove us to go see The Dark Knight Rises (By the way it's an amazing movie).

Even though the lack of new paint on the Grand Carousel since the late 1970's is a yearly frustration Bond and I still enjoy getting on it and taking this classic for a spin every visit or two.
