Between my teeth chattering and my whole body shivering I took a few
photos while we were sitting at the top of Colossus.
The main reason we rode Colossus was to check out the lines around the park.
I had wanted to spend some time on Batman but after seeing that the line
was all the way out into the "park" section of the queue there
was no way we'd get a ride on it. I think they had one train in operation
and with that long of a line it had to be a two hour wait minimum.
That's fine those folks can wait there and we'll go take advantage of the
no wait for the Eagle, Mine Train, Pandemonium and American Thunder.
I also was looking forward to some fantastic opening day hang time on Mr.
Freeze but it was down for the weekend as the rumors are that it blew a
transformer but would be open next weekend.
On the way around the park Bond requested a ride on Shazam. He likes
rides where he can slam back and forth into me with his "elbows of
steel". It's fun while he was little but with him getting bigger
and bigger I am starting to look forward to the age when he's big enough
to sit on the outside so I can give him a little good natured payback.
