Bond was more than excited to get back to Batman as after I finally got him on it last year it pretty much became his favorite ride at Six Flags St. Louis. He'd stay on it all day long if he could.

Six Flags St. Louis is always great for opening weekend with all of the flowers blossoming. It's like the wrapping on a present. You love how it looks for the brief time it's on the package then you rip it off and start playing.

The big thing that Six Flags was doing for opening weekend was double rides. Now we have no issues with riding twice, well except for Ninja as we'd rather not be riding it at all, but with the insanely huge crowds that joined us on opening day this was to become a nightmare.

Thankfully though not everyone was through the gates, or even into the parking lot that eventually filled all the way up so waiting for Batman wasn't that bad.
