While walking around we scared up a doe in the brush near The Boss
who ran off and then a few minutes later noticed this fawn off under The
Boss ten or so feet off of our path. I didn't notice it then but this
deer obviously is hurt and not at all well and that's why it didn't run
away.
With the temperature hovering near a hundred the hike around The Boss was
a bit of a workout.
It was nice having trainload after trainload of riders willing to pose for
us.
Normally The Boss runs well in the spring and fall and beats you senseless
when the wood dries out in the summertime. With all of the rain we've
had this year it's stayed in fantastic shape and is a great ride other than
it's helix which as Bond put it this weekend reminds him of Kings Island's
Son of Beast as rough as it is.
