It's easy and inexpensive to make a carousel horse out of fiberglass like modern carousel horses are made but there's just something about hand carved wood that makes a classic carousel magical.

I've never really paid much attention to the chariot on the Grand Carousel as I'm too busy finding my horse but it's really beautiful.
