Six Flags St. Louis Eureka, Missouri 2002 Page Sixteen
The River King Mine Train opened with the park in 1971. It used to be one of a pair of mine train coasters but the other side was removed so that the Ninja could be built. The other side of the River King is now at Magic Springs in Arkansas as "Big Bad John" but after Six Flags sold it it spent a few years at Dollywood. The classic ore car styling is very cool. The River King is a family coaster so anyone over 42 inches tall can enjoy it with the rest of their family. Bond only has 6 inches to go before he can ride it. Jeff King is over 42 inches tall and loves to ride the River King Mine Train. See, it's not a kiddy coaster but instead is just a fun coaster to ride.
