Six Flags Over Texas, Arlington, TX

While waiting for one of our evening rides on Titan we took some time to poke around some of Six Flags Over Texas' shops.  It was nice to find a wide assortment of things especially also to see a glassblower which sadly is a rare thing to find at a big corporate amusement park these days.

Before our last ride on Titan we needed to find somewhere to get the weight off our feet and ended up finding this nice little plaza with a little fountain in the middle that was kind of hidden behind a few buildings.  It was just a perfect place to hang out and relax.

I was a little bit bummed after out last Titan ride because the park would soon be closing and we had yet to ride Shock Wave that day as whenever we tried to ride it there was a shut down.  Still it was nice to find a deserted station with something like an hour left until the park closed.

Shock Wave in the dark is just magical.  You've got the roar of the train, the passing lights of cars on the expressway and the light glow of the track's tracer lights as you speed around it's course.
