Superman is a back seat ride
for me. Yeah in the front you have nothing in front of you for
a great visual but the back seat has it beat by far in forces.
Coming into the pretzel loop you have some fantastic negative g's and
a millisecond later as the train dives head first to the ground you're
plastered with positive g's. The going from extreme negative to
extreme positive in a flash blows me away every time.
I love watching classic rides
like the Wheelie because they look so cool. Unfortunately if I ride
it I have to look straight forward because if I look a little to the
side I will be extremely sick. So rather than ruin my day at the
park I just watch.
Thunder River was up and running
but being this early in the season that water has to be more than a
bit chilly. One of these times I need to give it a try because
it looks like a lot of fun with all of it's waterfalls, rapids and caves.
This is probably Vekoma's best
ride ever, the Ninja.
I didn't get a ride on the
Ninja this visit but heading over to the picnic pavilion offered several
different unique vantage points of this coaster.
