If you ever need a place at Six
Flags Over Georgia to sit down and relax go up into the carousel house
(which is modeled after the original
Riverview Carousel house) and grab a rocking chair and just relax.
The view is wonderful, it gets a nice breeze up there and I don't know
what it is but carousel music is like a hot bath...totally relaxing.
We were told by Six Flags Over Georgia's General Manager that General
Sherman camped on this hill when he was on his great march to the sea
during the civil war and you can see remains of fox holes dug around
the carousel and they find buttons, bullets and other artifacts up there
all the time.
Ok, on what other carousel are you
going to get hot cherub
action? There's more action on this carousel than in most
movies on Skin-emax. Yes there's nudity but like I said earlier
this carousel is a museum piece. You don't find works of art like
this one just anywhere. Thank you Six Flags Over Georgia for keeping
a little piece of Riverview alive.
If you've got a little one like
we have you just can't spend your whole day riding coasters so Six Flags
Over Georgia has Bugs Bunny land which has plenty for the little enthusiasts
to ride and do.
Ninja was one of the surprises of
our visit to Six Flags Over Georgia. I was used to what everyone
who frequented the park's opinions about it which was the fact that
it was very rough and no one liked it. I believed it partially
because it was manufactured by Vekoma and they are a bit notorious for
rough coasters. Well I was wrong...the Ninja is a great ride.
I think the big problem with no
one liking it was that they were all brought up on the Mindbender which
is one of the best coasters on the planet and Ninja is just good.
One of the things that I liked about the Ninja was the fact that it
has no mid course brakes which is pretty rare for a coaster...especially
one at a Six Flags.
