The Grand Carousel is a really gorgeous classic carousel.



I really enjoy hand carved wooden carousel horses because there is a life to these works of art.



The Grand Carousel has galloping horses to choose from or a coupe of chariots if you are needing a more sedate ride.



The Grand Carousel was built by M.C. Illions in 1909 but didn't come to Riverside park until 1940.



A few of the horses have been restored but many of the others like this one desperately need work and a whole lot of paint.
