With this being Bonds fifth new park of the week he was really racking
up the new credits for his coaster count. He hit a bit of a milestone
at Batman: The Dark Knight as it became his 250th coaster.
Batman: The Dark Knight was added in 2002 during a time when Six Flags was
really investing heavily in the park after "flagging" Riverside Park into
Six Flags New England in 2000.
The Dark Knight is a really compact floorless coaster by B&M that is
a lot of fun.
After an unusually steep lift in order to squeeze The Dark Knight into a
tight footprint it takes you through five inversions as you speed through
just 2,600 feet of track.
Having nothing under your feet may be a little gimmicky but I enjoy looking
down and watching the track and rails go by right beneath you as you speed
through twists, loops and turns.
