The Cyclone was known back then as one extremely intense coaster, possibly because it's designer Bill Cobb had a heart attack while designing it.

Since then it has been extremely neutered. The track above is the bottom of the first drop. The track below it that has been built over is where the bottom of the first drop used to be.

In addition to having the first drop neutered over every hill where you should get airtime there is a trim brake placed and turned on to slow you down so there is no air at all.
