As Jeff Johnson said of Goliath on Robb and Sarah's Home Movies 2000 "Thank god it has a mid course brake" If you weren't slowed down there would be some serious blacking out due to the G forces.

Goliath flies up out of the tangled mess if it's track up into the station brakes.
