Shooting back up the spike in the back seat is always a lot of fun on Greezed Lightinin'.

Out of my two hours at Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom I spent three-fourths of it sitting right here in the front seat of Greezed Lightnin'.  The crowds in the park were extremely light due to the cold and the Thunder over Louisville air and fireworks show so there was plenty of re-rides.  Looking up during one of my rides I saw a B-52 bomber flying overhead as well as F-16's, F-5's and F-18's circling the park after taking off from the Louisville Airport waiting their turn to fly over the Louisville Riverfront.

I love just staring down that track.  Just a note I did not take my camera on the ride.  This was taken while the ride was stopped in the station.

Here's me after my "Zen Ride" where there was just me and the coaster, no one else was on board.  The silence was especially nice because the rest of my thirty-five laps on Greezed Lightnin' were filled with shrieking teenagers.

While the Kentucky Derby Festival is on it is the best time to get over to Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom because there's so much going on around town that you can walk for a while and see no one but yourself and the employees of Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom.  A few years ago we went the day after the Derby and we were the only ones in the far side of the park for quite a while.
