The Giant Wheel at Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom

The Giant Wheel is just that, giant. It has forty gondolas and really is a nice way to get off of your feet and hang out for a little bit with friends and family.

Chang, The Stand Up Rollercoaster at Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom

Chang is a great coaster. I think it's the second tallest and longest stand up coaster in the world. It was #1 when it was built in 1997.

Chang has five inversions including this incline loop. The weather when we visited was mixed as you're seeing in my photos, sometimes it looked like rain and then sometime it was sunny. Thankfully unlike in years past on opening day the temperature was in the mid-70's.

On stand up coasters the most fun for me is changing directions. Your head is far above the center of gravity so even the slightest twist or turn can be a thrill.
