With the park pretty empty and The Whizzer being a capacity monster I was able to ride my favorite coaster in the park as much as my heart desired as there was never a wait for it.



Hearing the hum of the motors in the Whizzer's cars as they spiral up to the top of the lift just feels like home.



The Whizzer has been THE coaster to ride at Great America for the last forty-eight years.



This year The Whizzer has a little addition to each car, a Schwarzkopf name badge.  As part of the production of "The Legacy of Schwarzkopf" the American Coaster Enthusiasts sent parks new Schwarzkopf logos to adorn all of his rides.



The Whizzer is one of those rare coasters that give a perfectly fun and thrilling ride if it is your first lap or if you have rode it well over a thousand times like myself.
