The Joker roller coaster at Six Flags Great America, Gurnee, Illinois

You never know which way The Joker's cars are going to flip you which makes each and every ride completely remarkable experience.

With Roaring Rapids sign gone and the ride down I have to ask is this classic rapids ride on the chopping block?

Superman Ultimate Flight is always a good ride, especially when there is absolutely no wait, like it was on this visit.

This Superman Ultimate Flight is one of the three cloned flying coasters from Bolliger & Mabillard.  The original opened at Six Flags Over Georgia in 2002 with two more opening the following year at Six Flags Great Adventure and here at Six Flags Great America.

All three are the same with the exception of Georgia's station that has a dual loading platform.  The layout for all three Superman Ultimate Flights have a great mix of thrill, flying, speed, and a few moments of insanity thrown in.  The one in Georgia is by far the superior of the three because it was built into the parks hilly terrain instead of being built over what used to be parking lots.  Georgia's, with more of a nap of the Earth flying experience has additional thrills over just plopping the same ride over a sodded over parking lot.
