The Demon is probably the roughest ride in the park but I'm glad that Great America has kept it running.  It's a classic and it is great to be able to take a look at how looping coasters at the beginning of their existence were and then take a couple of steps sway...

X-Flight is a wing coaster designed by Bolliger & Mabillard.

Just being able to turn a person upside down on a coaster was a groundbreaking thing in the 1970's and 80's like on The Demon.  Today there are no limitations to what a coaster designer can do with the exception of what our bodies can take.
