The Vertical Velocity Roller Coaster at Six Flags Great America, Gurnee, Illinois

Shooting back and forth is fun but my favorite moment on Vertical Velocity is shooting up the back spike while seated in the back of the train as you get to just hang there suspended in air as the train stalls out before falling down.

Batman:  The Ride looks great as usual.

We didn't take Batman for a ride but we did hop on the Joker and The Dark Knight.

On a side note if you get super hot and need to cool down while the air conditioning in the Dark Knight's queue is not spectacular it is cooler than the outside and is a great place to cool down and score a fun little ride.

Batman is a great ride but with a line it is an easy coaster to pass up on as we can always walk on the copy down at Six Flags St. Louis when we go.

The Maxx Force Roller Coaster at Six Flags Great America, Gurnee, Illinois

Here is one last photo before we call it quits.  Bond had worked until 4 am the night before and then we left at 5 am to head to Six Flags.  About seven he hit a wall so after one last Maxx Force Ride we were done.  It was a great day at the park but it really seems that Six Flags Great America has so much it is getting almost impossible to ride everything in just one day.

Still it was great having Six Flags Great America back and I look forward to heading back up there again and again now that the park is open.
