The Raging Bull Roller Coaster at Six Flags Great America, Gurnee, Illinois

The finale of Raging Bull is a high speed low to the ground figure eight.

With our splurged for Flash Pass Bond and worked it where we checked into Raging Bull and walked up the steps and reserved another lap on it.  By the time we got into the station, rode and slowly walked down the exit ramp it was time to ride Raging Bull again.  Being able to do that over and over and just ride non stop with my boy one last time before adulthood, marriage and his having a life is added to the equation made the rare Flash Pass purchase worth it for me.

Six Flags as a whole has really been pushing memberships over season passes recently.  The old season pass you purchased and paid for it all at the beginning of the season where memberships are broken down into monthly payments.  It makes sense financially for Six Flags to have continuous funds coming in over the year and it is easier for people to afford paying $10 a month over $120 at once.

With the membership there are all sorts of perks over season passes.  You have discounts, jump to the head of the line passes and at Six Flags Great America they turned the old fire station in Hometown Square into the Members Lounge.

You have air conditioning, comfy seats, a drink refill station, a snack stand for use with the Season Dining Pass and even a cell phone charging station.  This is a great idea and it would be nice seeing these at every park in the chain.

X-Flight is always a wonderful ride and whenever we passed it we reserved another flight on our Flash Pass.
