Remember how I mentioned that the Great American Eagle was underrated.  Partly it is due to being in the same park as Viper.



Viper was built in house by Six Flags and the rides layout is modeled after the legendary Coney Island Cyclone.

Unfortunately the best seat on the ride was only available on one of the trains so Emily and I had to wait a little bit longer but with The Viper the third row is always worth the wait as that seat has some of the best airtime in the world.



The Viper has always been an extremely smooth wooden coaster and I am certain with Six Flags Great America's maintenance department doing the actual construction themselves they had quite a lot of input in the design process and made every little bit of the ride the right way.
