I'm really glad to see the park take a lot of pride in The Demon despite being dwarfed by bigger and better thrill rides.

Despite having avoided riding The Demon due to some extreme roughness a few years ago It is hard not to flash back to my eyes when I first saw this coaster as a kid and remember how terrifying and huge it was.

Like the season eventually a nice and fun filled day at Six Flags Great America had to come to an end. I had to grab an incriminating photo of Bond, his cousin Allison and Emily by the reflecting pool and the Columbia Carousel before we exited the park.

As I said when exiting the park carried by my step father late one night at the age of eight:

"Good night Sky Trek. Good night Great America".
