Shortly after the opening ceremony a wicked band of storms headed straight for Six Flags Great America.



As a result we all took shelter in Mooseburger Lodge which conveniently was where Six Flags Great America had lunch prepared for us.  Here is Billy, Draven and John waiting out the storm.



Six Flags Great America had a bunch of tasty treats for us to munch on while waiting for the storm to pass.



The storms came and went, the rides on Goliath came to an end and then everyone left. 



Goliath was not open yet but the rest of Six Flags Great America was so Bond and I spent the rest of the day having fun at the park.  I don't know why everyone hit the road but they missed a fun day with of plenty of rides as the park was not crowded at all.
