Ok time to get off my soapbox and get back to showing you what you
want which is some more gorgeous photos of Goliath.
Oh Bond and I were not the only ones being "moved" by this giant kinetic
work of art. It was fun watching the regular park patrons walk by
and just stand there slack jawed and blown away by Goliath without even
getting to ride. There were many people staring up at the train all
inverted as it sped through the zero-g stall speechless for a few minutes
before declaring "NO" before walking off.
I do get emails every now and then asking how I get some of the photos that
I do.
My big suggestion is to have fun and be creative with your camera.
With film just a specialty thing now and everyone shooting digital my big
suggestion is to take as many photos as your card holds and play around
with different angles and different vantage points.
When you start off your pictures will just suck. Mine did.
Just go and take a look at some of my earliest trip reports from 1999 when
I started Negative-G like
this one from Six Flags Great America for a perfect example. The
photos will be horrible but keep experimenting and keep shooting and you
will get it.
Speaking of getting creative it is a little hard to really show the insanity
of Goliath's Dive Loop with all of the structure around it.
