After a few rides on Goliath and others we headed up to the front
of the park for a couple of engagement photos on the Columbia Carousel.
I had never been on the lower level of this enormous double decker carousel
so I had no clue that this really cool horse was there.
As someone whom next summer will celebrate my twentieth year married to
Carrie I decided to give them a little advice. The first of which
is if you can't tell your spouse absolutely everything then you have a problem.
The second which Michelle and John shouldn't have much trouble with is make
sure to stay friends and laugh often because if you can't have fun with
the person you want to spend the rest of your life with then it is going
to suck.
We are almost done with the cute pictures.
This is the last one. Congratulations to Michelle and John on their
engagement. I wish you happiness, laughter and fun for the rest of
your lives.
On that note this trip came to an end. With cold temperatures, rain
and crowds pouring in the gates Bond and I decided to head out a little
early and stop by Portillos on our way back down state for a little taste
of Chicago.
Thanks to Six Flags Great America for giving us a fun couple of days and
for helping us help John and Michelle get engaged. We look forward
to more riding with them and more visits to Six Flags Great America in the
future.
