The service that we needed to render for John was to help him get
engaged to his girlfriend Michelle. In order to pull this off we had
to bring his ring into the park past security as the metal detectors going
off and his having to pull the ring out would have been a dead giveaway
and he wanted the whole thing on film.
Here is the ring which spent most of the day wrapped up in tissue paper
and stuffed in a pocket in my fanny pack.
The way it was all set up was that it was going to go down on Raging Bull
and Six Flags Great America were a part of the whole setup. Six Flags
Great America does a big thing for the millionth rider on each of their
coasters each year. That person gets a bag full of goodies and John
was going to be the lucky winner on Raging Bull that day.
Six Flags gave him the goodie bag and as he went through it he came up with
the box and the ring that I had delivered to the park and popped the question.
As you can see by the expression on Michelle's face she did not expect it
and her brain pretty much exploded.
After she said yes and the entire station erupted in one giant "awwwww"
the two of them were sent out for a lap on Raging Bull.
As you can see John is all grins after pulling the big surprise off and
getting engaged to the woman that he loves.
