For those of you who are not coaster geeks like myself X-Flight is a "Wingrider" coaster by the Swiss coaster design firm Bolliger & Mabillard. What makes a Wingrider coaster so cool is that there is no track above or below you as you can see in this picture. You ride outside of the track as if on the edge of a wing. Hence the name "Wingrider".
