Media Day For The New For 2012 X-Flight Rollercoaster at Six Flags Great America in Gurnee, Illinois

Oh it isn't just the train that takes you through the control tower as the queue goes through it as well.

The control tower is just the first part of a one-two punch head/foot chopper.  The second part takes place when you're completely inverted and pass through this close call of a support.  It comes so damn fast even after a few rides this one will surprise you.

Here's we are getting ready for yet another ride.  By the end of the day we had twenty-six laps on X-Flight.

Here's some reverse point of view footage of Bond and me riding X-Flight.  How I got this was cool.  I noticed that the media there had mounted a camera rig for a GoPro HD Hero camera just like I have (Bond and I are experimenting with the idea of shooting videos for here).  For most of the rides it was empty and I asked if we could put my camera in it figuring best case they'd say yes worst case no.  Well the best case happened and we have this sweet footage of us on X-Flight.
