Swinging rides have always been a favorite of my Mother's. When I was a child we'd ride these, get off and my Mom and I would run back around and get on the next ride for hours. She is a big reason that I love parks because of times like that. I also fell in love with coasters because of her as I grew up hearing her tales of Riverview Park and how amazing it's legendary Bobs coaster was. She used to ride it like an enthusiast while my Dad was too terrified to ride even a kiddie coaster. I get my thrill seeker genes from my Mom.

Mom can't do coasters anymore but whenever she can she still likes to take a ride on the swings especially with her grandson.

At about five all the freaks and scare actors came out giving Six Flags Great America a frightful atmosphere. There were monsters, ghouls and freaks everywhere which is a good thing.
