One day you realize that the summer is almost over with and out of the past
two months you've only had one day at an amusement park and you NEED
to go ride. That's where I was early August. It has been such
a messed up summer and sadly it was coming to a close so Bond and I got
up early one Thursday morning and headed up to Six Flags Great America for
two days of fun, coasters and more coasters.
I grew up hitting then Marriott's Great America each summer and it was nice
seeing it's familiar skyline overhead.
Our plan whenever we hit Six Flags Great America is to head straight to
the low capacity coasters, namely The Dark Knight and the Ragin' Cajun because
after an hour open the lines are well over an hour for both of them.
The Ragin' Cajun to put it lightly massively kicked our asses. Bond
and I sat opposite of each other in the cars and we ended up whipping around
like a top. Our heads were spinning so much we both had a hard time
getting off the ride without falling down and had to sit a few minutes while
the world stopped spinning around us.
After the spinning in our heads stopped Batman tempted us across the midway
for a flight..
