Even though Raging Bull scared Bond a bit he was not scared off of
coasters as he demanded that we hit The Great American Eagle next.
We gave the blue side a try and well, it didn't really perform for us so
we headed across to the red side that has this newly refurbished train for
us to hop into. While we got little air with the blue the red side
kept sending our rears out of the seat again and again. It was a blast
to ride although still a bit rough and in need of some track work at the
bottom of the first hill and in its helices. Honestly if they ever
got this coaster performing like Viper it'd be an awesome 1-2 wood coaster
punch.
This is something that I haven't seen in decades. Yes, they were actually
racing the Eagle and they were all day long. We ended up getting a
ride with a couple of the Eagle's leads and they said that not racing a
racing coaster was a pet peeve of theirs and that it would be happening
this year.
Even though the red train was a bit behind the blue always bet on the red
as it caught up and overcame the blue by quite a margin every time as it's
running that well.
After hitting the red and blue sides of the Eagle (multiple on the red)
we were off to Iron Wolf as our next port of call.
