It's always been a tradition to end our day at Six Flags Great America
with a ride on Viper. This empty station is what greeted us after
we sprinted from our last ride on Raging Bull for one last ride on Viper.
We were all al little winded from the run by the time we got in the station.
In all of the years that I have been riding Viper it has never let me down.
It's always smooth, fast and full of airtime, especially if you sit in 1.3
(that's the third row of the front car for those of you not versed in coaster
geek speak).
Viper really shines, especially when compared to the Eagle. I just
don't understand how this coaster can be always in top notch condition while
the Eagle is always rough as hell? I don't want Viper's maintenance
crew to all head over to the Eagle but they should sure be teaching the
Eagle crew a thing or two.
