Six Flag's Great America Gurnee, Illinois 2001 Page Eleven
Here is the Boomerang being worked on. About the only difference between our June and July visit that was noticeable was that the queue was finished and the landscaping was done. The big problem with the delay is Vekoma built two more of these for Six Flags and all three of them had problems which you've got to expect with a prototype.
This is the boomerang from below.
My only question about the name "Deja Vu" is why would Six Flags name a coaster after a chain on strip clubs that are around the Midwest? Hey, I'm not saying that I've been to one of the clubs...I haven't but if you ask me it's a bad choice.
